with fine and uniform texture, irregular grain. Heartwood light red, deepening to brick red, uniform or with black streaks.
Contains approx. 25% tannins. Quebracho is worldwide one of the most durable woods, heavy, tends to split, is very hard and strong. Due to the hardness it is very difficult to work, especially when dry, but takes a high natural polish.
