Timber of yellow to brown colour, lighter than Quebracho Colorado. Red stains are common. The grain is fine and homogenous. Kiln-drying is easy but has to be done slowly, the wood tends to split. Quebracho blanco can be machined easily..

Uses
because of its outstanding hardness, Quebracho blanco is mainly used for flooring. After creosote impregnation, this wood was extensively used for sleepers throughout Argentina.
