Founded in 2003 by a group of forestry and finance professionals from Switzerland and Germany the “Grupo Manejo Forestal S.A.” – GMF – is headquartered in the City of Salta, Argentina. Our business model is focusing on sustainable as well as environmentally and socially responsible management of forests in the North of Argentina.

GMF is producing and marketing sawn timber, and solid panels made of durable, decorative, and precious timber. Our management approach is strictly aligned to the needs and wishes of our customers.

GMF strives for the certification of its management scheme under the auspices of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This includes e.g. the value appreciation of the forests, marketing strategies for timber products, and the solution of socio-economic conflicts.
