Logs
Length to 8 m, average diameter: 60 cm

Timber with pronounced cedary scent, accentuated and straight grain, coarse to medium texture. Heartwood of reddish brown to pinkish colour, sapwood of yellow colour.
Cedro is a light and moderate hard wood that shrinks little, is easy to kiln-dry and to machine. No problems occur with nailing, screwing and gluing. Staining and lacquering lead to good results. Cedro is perfect for doors and windows. Lilloi, which grows in the highlands, is of a more reddish colour than angustifolia, might have pin knots and a more accentuated grain.
